As a first time filmmaker, I have a lot to learn and I don’t pretend to know what I’m doing. All I know is that I’m determined to bring my short film to life.
I’ve read from several sources that it’s a good idea to keep a production journal to document the filmmaking process. It’s meant to help track my journey, make informed decisions, and learn from my experiences.
I thought I’d take that advice, but figured I’d share it with everyone too!
So I plan on sharing the making of Marbles with you. I’ll share where we are at in the process, how I’m feeling, and the steps (or missteps) I’m taking to get it made. It’s already been quite the journey and I have so much to share already!
I welcome any advice whether it’s a lesson learned, book recommendation, or networking opportunity.
